Jockey Club "DS Power" Support Programme
Thanks to the sponsorship from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, a 3-years project of “Jockey Club “DS POWER” Holistic Wellness Support Project” was lounged on 1 May 2022 in The Jockey Club Down Syndrome Centre. Hope that we could help the adults with Down Syndrome to establish a healthy lifestyle and preventing “accelerated aging” through Intensive case management for high risk DS families, Training programmes and community Education.
1. Improve the physical and emotional well-being of adults with Down syndrome;
2. Enhance the ability of adults with Down syndrome to live independently;
3. Strengthen caregivers' knowledge of health education and prevention of ageing for children with Down syndrome, so as to delay the occurrence of early-onset ageing;
4. Provide timely support to carers to relieve the stress of caregiving.
1. Persons aged 18 or above with Down syndrome;
2. parents and carers;
3. Volunteers and community members.

Service Introduction
DS ambassador
Through continuous training and represent our organization to shoulder different voluntary service, “DS ambassador” build up a positive image to the public and promote social inclusion.
Down’s Swimming Team
Down’s Swimming Team was establish in 2008. In 2023-24, the team has 16 members, including 10 boys and 6 girls.
Aims:
- To raise the swimming technique, physical health, strength and ability, personal and discipline.
- To build up the swimming interest of Down’s and enhance their psychosocial health.
- To raise the confidence and sense of achievement through participating local and international events.

Our organization appointed five team members to join the 11th WORLD DOWN SYNDROME SWIMMING & ARTISTIC CHAMPIONSHIP in Antalya on 18-27 Mar 2024. Bless them breaking their own records and achieve the best results.
