One pair of my mandarin duck socks
The Hong Kong Down Syndrome Association will hold a flag fundraising event on 9 March 2019 (Saturday) in Hong Kong Island. In March, the Association also took the opportunity to promote World Down Syndrome Day. The Flag Day will be designed with the theme of Mandarin Duck Socks, and the Association will specially launch “Mandarin Duck Socks Flag Set”, “Mandarin Duck Socks Flag Set”, Mandarin Duck Socks Flag Set”, the Mandarin Duck Socks Flag Set, which is drawn and designed by members and students of the Hong Kong Down Syndrome Association, showing their unique personalities, sharing their various joys and sorrows in life, and experiencing and enjoying the same color of life together.
A pair of socks resembles a pair of chromosomes, but it turns out that each sock can have its own unique color and show its full ability, as well as people with Down syndrome who have an extra chromosome.

Both socks are colorful, but there are different color combinations and titles, and everyone blooms different colors of life, building an inclusive society together, and having more tolerance and acceptance.

The flag I designed is themed around a pair of happy children with Down syndrome. The candy on their bodies represents that the children with Down syndrome are a group of sweet children, and the smiles on their faces represent that they are a group of happy children.

The difference in weather is also a necessary stage in life - there are sunny things, but sometimes there are unpleasant things. The same sky, different mood, but still try to face it.

One sock is for girls with Down syndrome and the other for boys. Both children are laughing happily, simple brushstrokes, with three primary colors, representing the simple innocence of a friend with Down syndrome.
