Most people with Down syndrome have “3” chromosome pair “21”, so the United Nations General Assembly designates “21 March” as World Down Syndrome Day to raise public awareness and advocate for the rights of people with Down syndrome.
In 2022, with the theme of “Embracing Health and Embracing Love”, the Association will organise a series of activities to celebrate this special day, allowing members, parents, organisations from different sectors, the general public, etc. to participate in spreading health messages and seeds of love, and embracing an inclusive society together.
