Approved by the Social Welfare Department (Public Fundraising Licence No. FD/R014/2023), the Association will hold a flag-selling fundraising event on 20 January 2024 (Saturday) in Hong Kong Island. This year, the Association has launched a special edition Golden Flag Set, which will be awarded a Golden Flag from 20 November 2023 to 31 January 2024 if you donate more than HK$100. The flag paper is designed by our members, which is of special significance. The proceeds from the flag sale will be used to sustain self-financing service development, including sports development programmes for people with Down syndrome and other disabilities, with a view to improving the quality of life for them and their families.

The Association is currently recruiting 3,000 volunteers aged 14 or above (those aged 14 or below must be accompanied by an adult) to assist in the fundraising event. To encourage active participation, each volunteer participating in the flag selling will receive a Certificate of Commendation from the Association.

We sincerely invite everyone to participate in this flag sale fundraising activity. Your participation in any form will be our support and encouragement, if so, please register on or before December 15, 2023.
